One of the things I most loved as an expectant and then as a new Mum was creating and making lots of gorgeous things to use for my baby sons - Bunny Rugs, burp cloths, quilts, crochet bits and pieces. I adore things that are a little old-fashioned with a modern twang to them, hence "A little bit retro, a little bit funky!". I have always given handmade gifts to friends and family having new babies, it has always seemed so much more thoughtful and special.
Your Cheeky Monkey was consequently created in 2008 to continue my love affair with gorgeous handmade baby gifts, and to also be able to be with my family by running a home based business.
